Dr Sarasij Das is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Associate Faculty in the Centre for Society and Policy at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Sarasij received a PhD degree from the University of Western Ontario, London, ON, Canada in 2014. He received M.Sc(Engg) and B.E degree in Electrical Engineering from the Jadavpur University and the Indian Institue of Science, Bangalore respectively. He also obtained Postgraduate Diploma in Cyber Law & Cyber Forensics from the National Law School of India University in 2018. He is a Senior Member of IEEE. He serves in the Editorial Boards of IEEE Access and IEEE Open Access Journal of Power and Energy journals.

Previously, he was with the Global Technology Centre of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore, India; and Power Research and Development Consultants Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore, India. He was a Post Doctoral Researcher at the Ontario Tech University, Canada in 2014-15.
