Sankalp Mishra
Research Trainee
Sankalp Mishra is a Research Trainee at the Centre for Society and Policy, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. He holds a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in International Relations, specializing in Foreign Policy Analysis, from O.P. Jindal Global University. He is currently in the final semester of his postgraduate degree in Public Policy and Sustainable Development at TERI School of Advanced Studies.
 
He is engaged in research related to technology governance, international technology engagements, emerging technologies, and geopolitics. His areas of interest include technology sovereignty, systems-thinking applications in the technology domain, and sustainability and energy policy.
 
Prior to joining Centre for Society and Policy, he had worked on projects related to energy, sustainability, and public policy with the Ministry of Jal Shakti and the Department of Higher Education. He has also worked with international relations-focused research centres, such as the Centre for Middle East Studies, where he examined geopolitical developments in the Middle East, with a focus on sovereignty, legal dimensions, and broader regional policy issues.
