The Bio-Responsibility Policy Lecture Series

The Bio-Responsibility Policy Lecture Series is a part of the Bio-Responsibility Initiative at the Centre for Society and Policy (CSP), Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The series provides a platform for informed discussions on emerging issues at the intersection of life sciences, policy, security, governance, and responsible innovation.

 

Through lectures delivered by leading experts from academia, government, industry, international organisations, and civil society, the series seeks to strengthen dialogue on contemporary bio-responsibility challenges while fostering greater awareness of evolving policy and governance frameworks.

The Policy Lecture Series aims to:

  • Promote informed discourse on emerging biological and technological risks.
  • Bridge scientific research and public policy through expert engagement.
  • Contribute to building a strong community committed to safe, secure, and responsible life science research and innovation.

The series is open to researchers, students, policymakers, industry professionals, and others interested in advancing responsible governance of emerging life science technologies.
