The Centre’s Visiting Scholars Program is an initiative for hosting exceptional international scholars, professors, practitioners, government officials as well as scientific and civil society leaders.

The visiting scholars are hosted as guests of IISc for a predefined period as short-term visitors. As non-employees, such scholars do not have teaching responsibilities and they are not entitled to salary or housing. On-campus accommodation can be availed, on payment by the scholar, depending on the availability of the facilities.
